Pippin is named after the Hobbit Pippin, from The Lord of the Rings...well he does have pointy ears and big-hairy feet after all.
Our bundle of joy arrived on Feb 21st 2004, though he was born on December 17th
2003. He's a miniature white schnauzer and cute as can be!

He was four pounds when we got him!
Oh such sweetness, never again would he sleep in my arms like this!
So tiny, I could easily balance him in my hand....cutie-pie!
Here he is, a tad larger and and older...but none the wiser I'm afraid! (The Dog, not the Chris!)

And his latest pic, weighing in at 9 lbs and 3 ounces....our 17 week old Pip!
Here he is around 10.5 pounds, at 5.5 months old. Almost all his adult teeth are in and he's as hyper as ever, but still up for posing for pictures.
How sweet, he let Chris cradle him for quite a while one night, while I was able to capture a few on film!
He likes to play rough sometimes, you can't really tell, but he's several inches off the ground in this one.
